Philosophy: Golf Performance

At Draper Golf Performance we believe that a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. We do not believe there is one way to swing a golf club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. However, there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do. The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.

Philosophy: Youth Performance

My staff and I bring a personalized approach and expertise that is particularly helpful to students and athletes. We believe that getting youth involved in exercise at a young age and working alongside a personal trainer or performance coach teaches them how to be a healthier version of themselves. We are passionate about attending to the child and adolescent as a whole. Our goal is to help athletes reach their highest playing potential through proper training and nutrition. Our aim is not only to help the athletes become proficient at sport specific skills but also how to help them be better athletes/people on and off the field/court.

We develop training programs that target the physical needs of the group as a whole while establishing trusting relationships in which those needs are addressed. We take great pride in helping athletes of all ages find success and enjoyment in their fitness regimens. Fitness should be sustainable and attainable to ensure that the athlete is performing at maximal potential.
